Network Marketing Now – How to Decide Which MLM Products Are Best For Long Term Success

Network Marketing92 Network Marketing Now How to Decide Which MLM Products Are Best For Long Term Success
Network marketing and MLM is a great way to start a profitable home business. With so many opportunities out there, how do you start the process of evaluating them? What do you look at first?

Some industry leaders suggest looking at the management of the company and evaluating their history and background in MLM. Others prefer to focus on the compensation plan as the most important consideration. Still others suggest taking a hard look at the products offered before you do anything else.

While all of these are valid considerations, the first key to success in this business is your products. The foundation of your business is your MLM products. Excellent products help ensure a stable, long-term residual income. Strong and profitable network marketing businesses are built on a foundation of quality products that have lasting appeal to consumers. Without a foundation based on quality products, all you really have to offer in the long run is a money-making scheme. Opportunities built around mediocre products tied to highly-hyped compensation plans don’t last, and should be avoided. Your products are the foundation of a strong network marketing business, and the compensation plan is the driving force that makes everything work.

Evaluate your product or service based on the following criteria.

1) The best MLM products should not be “faddish” in nature. A faddish product could be something like the “latest and greatest” weight loss drink. This might be very popular for a while, but will lose much of its luster and popularity when the next “latest and greatest” product comes along.

A few years ago, diet cookies were a hot fad that caused a lot of excitement. Entire opportunities were built around these cookies. They were a good example of fad products. If you are willing to take the chance, good money can be made quickly with hot new items like this. Just be aware that there is considerable risk, because whatever business you build up will disappear overnight if the opportunity folds. If you want a long-term stable business with residual income, your best bet is to look for products with lasting appeal.

2) The best MLM products should be consumable. With consumable products, you can build up a customer base and enjoy repeat sales over and over. Nutritional supplements, skin care, and most personal care items fall into this category. You can make money with non-consumable products, but the residual income potential is not as good. Repeat sales will not be as high, and many of your customers will probably be one-time buyers. With non-consumable items you are always having to find new customers in order to make any ongoing income, and you will need a lot of referral business from your existing customers.

Examples of consumable items that have been sold through MLM include: nutritional supplements, skin care, cosmetics, and weight loss supplements. Legal, financial, and insurance related services could also be considered consumable since they are usually purchased on a regular basis.

Non-consumable products typically sold through MLM include: water filtration equipment, air purifiers, and electronic gadgets.

3) The best MLM products are premium quality. They will have expensive, high quality ingredients that are not typically used in ordinary consumer products. Your products should work better or taste better than anything you find in a retail store. This premium quality must be real, not just quality based on claims as described in sales literature.

4) Do the products offer real value for the money? Is the actual price that customers (not involved in the business) pay reasonable? Ask yourself these questions. Whatever opportunity you are considering, be sure to try the products for yourself before making a decision. Would you buy them at the retail prices if there was no potential for profit?

5) The products should have broad appeal with a large potential customer base. Nutritional supplements, home care, and other personal care lines are good examples of this. Ask yourself if the products you are considering are something that every home could use. How can they enhance your lifestyle? Do they really work or perform as advertised, or is it mostly hype and slick packaging?

Take time to carefully evaluate what is offered by any opportunity you are considering. Whatever business opportunity you choose, the products are the secret to establishing a long-term residual income. Don’t pass over this step.

Law of Attraction: the Truth or a Lie?

Copyright (c) 2008 Rebecca Hanson

Recently I discovered how the Law of Attraction makes it easy to recognize the truth from a lie.

A coaching client had asked if I could help her regain her joy in her marriage. Married almost 40 years to an exceptionally kind and caring man, two years ago she had listened to a “friend” who shared, in confidence, that she thought my client’s husband was having an affair. This came as a shock to my client. Yet, she allowed those words to take root. Why? Because 20 years earlier, she had begun to tell herself, “This is too good to last. One day he will leave me.”

Now, my client began to wonder if all she had learned about the Law of Attraction could help her turn this situation around. The amount of suspicion and “evidence” against her husband had grown, but he maintained his love for and faithfulness to her. She admitted that there was no proof he had been having an affair, other than he was seen talking with one of her girl friends.

As a coach, I knew it would be important to help my client sort through what was truth, what was not the truth, and what was an illusion or a lie. Then I remembered those words from the Bible, “You shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free.” I prayed for wisdom, and my inner voice spoke ever so gently. “You can tell the truth by how it feels. Truth feels good. Untruth feels bad.”

I spoke this wisdom to my client. She was relieved to know that there was a way to know the truth — and it had nothing to do with externals. However, by looking at how the report about her husband made her feel, she could see that it had all been a lie. All her suspicious, all her sadness, all her imaginings of him being with someone else had been based on falsehood. The truth was (and is) that he loves her and continues to love and cherish her. As we did EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) together, she released the old energy and thought patterns that had caused her so much grief. And as we “tapped in” the truth, the joyous Truth, her vibration came up very quickly AND so did the first evidence of the Truth of his love. During our coaching session, he left her a very loving voice message while we were talking on the phone.

Yes, the Law of Attraction is very powerful. A fear, entertained for 20 years, attracted a report that was not true, but was a vibrational match to that fear. From then on, looking for evidence to support the lie, many situations were interpreted as “evidence” that the fear and the lie were “the truth” when, in fact they were not.

Do you have an issue in your life that brings you sadness or pain? Ask the Law of Attraction (LOA) to show you the origins of this situation. Most likely it is based on fear or self-doubt. Notice how you feel relief at uncoving the Truth. Thank the LOA for showing you the Truth: that something based on a lie doesn’t feel good but learning the Truth does feel good.

This is such a simple method of determining Truth. I hope you’ll remember this story and trust your feelings to keep you happy and well.

The Most Important Twitter Tool For the Internet Marketer

Twitter Marketing21 The Most Important Twitter Tool For the Internet Marketer
Internet marketers know Twitter is a great tool, but there’s a feature that many of them overlook when it comes to Twitter, and that is the search feature. Now, I’ve got a few tips I’m going to give you to help you focus your search and find the best people to build your customer base and maximize your profits.

The first tip is to search for your name – Now, if someone is mentioning your name, you want to know about it. Does anyone ask about you? I’m going to want to know if people are inquiring about me because it kind of gives me a grasp on if people are looking for me or aren’t they. Do I have any potential there to pick up some customers? You never know. If someone says do you know someone who’s great at Twitter marketing and you read another reply saying, yeah, so-and-so, that’s a potential customer for you, so you’d want to follow up with both people perhaps and send them a little Tweet.

Search for your company – If you have an online business, do a search for your company name or product and find out if people are discussing your company or product. This is a great way to find potential customers. Another thing it’s great for is if they’re giving negative comments about you, you could take that and turn it around and make it into a positive thing. You catch the problem before it becomes a real problem.

Search for your product – What are you selling? If you’re selling an eBook about a specific topic and other people are also searching for that product, you might have a potential customer there to market too. You may also be able to set up a JV with some of the people selling similar complimentary products.

You can also search for your competitors – Search for your competitor’s names, products and their company. Find out what people are saying about them and what could give you a one up on them. Maybe you can offer a little bit better of a product than they are.

Another thing you can do is build your network up is by searching for people that are like-minded. Hang out with the same crowd you’re in. Find out what they’re all about and share ideas and stuff.
You can also search for people that sell or market similar products. For example, I run a greeting card company. Now, that could also compliment direct mail marketing because you can use greeting cards for marketing. A marketing company might be a good compliment for my greeting card company. Everyone you tweet with is a potential JV partner.

Besides using the search feature, there’s also some other things that the Twitter marketer should keep in mind. I’m going to share a couple tips with you here.

First off, you’re going to want to be personal with your Tweets. Don’t just do one tweet and keep sending it over and over and over again. Look at what people are reading about or watching and send out different tweets based on what’s going on in everyday life, and be genuine. Don’t put on a facade. If you’re not into Lilac Bushes, don’t sit there and post tweets about Lilac Bushes.

Do not send sales links every time. Let me repeat that, do not send sales links every time. It’s okay to send links for your blog such as relevant updates that your followers might find useful.
If you do post a link, don’t send a direct link to your product. You want to send people to your blog or an informational site. You don’t want to just be constantly pushing people for the sale. That’s going to be a big turn off and people are going to want to un-follow you all the time.

Send only relevant links to your followers. If you run a website about exercise, you don’t want to send a link to someone who is marketing potty chairs or how to potty train a child or dog sitting tips, because it’s really not relevant to what they’re doing.

One last thing that will also help you in your Twitter marketing is to be helpful with people. Offer advice and insights to solve your follower’s problems and don’t make everything about you, you, you. Take time to learn about people and what they’re tweeting about and your rewards will be great.

Social Marketing Tips For Facebook

Facebook Marketing13 Social Marketing Tips For Facebook
With over 80 million users worldwide, Facebook should be leveraged by anyone involved in online marketing. Here are some social marketing tips for utilizing the web’s largest social networking site.

Starting your own Facebook Group is a great way to start social marketing. Groups make it easy to interact with others. They’re also great because of the content you can upload–such as photos and videos–and the content management systems, such as discussion boards and the “comment wall”.

Groups do require a little bit of management. As your group grows bigger, it becomes easy for the group to loose focus. Spam becomes a problem after a certain growth level. This is nothing you can’t overcome, if you’ll just spend a bit of time tending your Facebook Group. Have some sort of screening process for new members, and make sure to post regularly, to keep going with direction and focus.

Facebook Pages are great for open business accounts. They were made just for businesses to promote themselves with. Facebook Pages can have Facebook applications to them, as well as other things like flash and html. This gives you more on-page interactivity than you can get just doing a group. You can also get more fans than you can with a group, as groups have fan limits and these pages do not.

One disadvantage of these kinds of pages is that you can’t invite new people via fans, like you can with groups. You can, however, share it with friends. This underscores how important it is to use everything Facebook (or any social media site you’re on, for that matter) offers you. You need to leverage each feature’s strength, while covering each feature’s weakness, when possible, with eh strength of other features.

Facebook even has its own classified section–the Facebook Marketplace. You can place your ad by geographic region, and interested parties can view your profile–even if they aren’t on your friends list!

Be sure your read the terms of service and stick to them like glue, though. It won’t help your social marketing efforts one bit for Facebook to thing you’re a spammer or black hatter. In fact, you’ll through a lot of time and potential money and traffic down the drain, if you come off as a spammer! So be sure and read Facebook Marketplace’s terms of service, and always stick to them!

Facebook networks are great places to find new traffic, check what the competition is doing, and get your hands dirty doing direct market research. Like groups, networks allow people to post comments and take part in forum events. Unlike groups, networks have no single person in control. Networks are a great place to see what your market or niche is talking about.

Groups, networks, Facebook Pages, and the Facebook Marketplace are all excellent opportunities for social media marketing. I hope these social marketing tips will help you use Facebook to its fullest extent!

Make Money With Your Website – Build a List, Use a Sales Funnel and Monetize

Sales Funnel16 Make Money With Your Website Build a List, Use a Sales Funnel and Monetize
If you own a website, you should have a plan to monetize it. The theme of your website is irrelevant too. If you’re going to spend countless hours building and maintaining a website, you should turn your website into an online cash register.

A sales funnel is designed to “funnel” prospects through a series of emails. You get prospects to join your email list by giving them something free. As you build a relationship with your prospects (and they trust and like you) you recommend more and more expensive products. You start with a free product, then move on to a $10-$20 product, and then to a $40-$100 product.

The reason you do this is because most people won’t spend money (the first time around) on a website or with a person they don’t know. But if they like you and trust you, they will gladly spend their money. Also, if you don’t have a way to stay in touch with your website visitors or have a “sales funnel” to filter them through, you are leaving money on the table.

Let me teach you how to do that. I’ll give you a hypothetical example assuming your website theme is “Jack Russell” dogs.

Once you’ve created your website, you need to follow these simple steps.

1. Ad Google AdSense to Your Site: Earn extra cash by adding Google AdSense to your site. Visit Google’s home page and get your free account. Paste the HTML code into your website and you’re done. You won’t get rich, but will earn some extra cash each time someone clicks on an ad.

2. Visit Clickbank: Go to Clickbank’s home page and sign up for a free affiliate account. Find any affiliate product you can pertaining to Jack Russell dogs. Once you find a product you like, get your own affiliate link and add the link to your website. To promote the link on your site, you could write a product review and insert pics of the book cover on your site.If you can’t find anything on Clickbank, do a Google search for “Jack Russell affiliate products” and see what comes up.

3. Write a 5-10 Page Special Report about Jack Russell Dogs: Create a simple report in Microsoft Word about Jack Russells. You could discuss nutrition, grooming, feeding, exercising, or best places to buy a Jack Russell. Once your report is done, convert it to PDF. You will give away this report in exchange for your site visitors name and email.

4. Create Your Own Information Product: Use this step if you can’t find any affiliate products to promote. You could write a simple 30-50 page ebook about Jack Russells to sell on your website. If you don’t like to write, you could have someone write it for you. If this still doesn’t appeal to you, skip this step.

5. Get an Auto-Repsonder: Sign up with Aweber or GetResponse and get your own auto-responder. Once you get an autoresponder, write 10-30 email messages about Jack Russells. In each email, provide some valuable information and then make a recommendation to purchase a product or service that pertains to the subject of the email. If your readers enjoy your information, they might click on your link and purchase the product. If they do, you earn a commission. Once your emails are written and proofread, add your web form to every page on your website.

Once you follow the steps listed above, your only real objective is to drive a ton of traffic to your site. If you don’t have adequate traffic you won’t make any money. Period. You need to become a master marketer by learning video marketing, Pay-Per-Click, Article Writing and Search Engine Optimization.
